Clara LIM specialises in complex disputes and appeals and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2022.

Prior to being called to the Singapore Bar, Clara completed her Relevant Legal Training at a boutique dispute resolution firm before completing her Training Contract with LVM Law Chambers LLC.

Upon graduation, Clara has accumulated substantial experience in high-stakes disputes in the Singapore High Court. Some of the high-profile matters that Clara has been involved in include proceedings brought by a foundation on behalf of the citizens of Papua New Guinea to recover funds held in a Singapore-incorporated company; one of Singapore’s longest criminal trials relating to the 2013 S$8 billion penny stock crash; proceedings to obtain a Mareva injunction against cryptocurrency exchanges; and proceedings brought by the victim of a Ponzi scheme known as SureWin4U against her uplines.

Clara has also been involved in multiple commercial mediations and has appeared as counsel before the Strata Titles Board in an evidential hearing.

Clara graduated from King’s College London in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and was the winner of the Law School Prize in Jurisprudence and Legal Theory. She also placed second on the Singapore Institute of Legal Education’s Commendation List and Prize Award for Part A of the Bar Examinations (2021 Session 1) with two distinctions.

During the weekends, Clara enjoys spending time with her dogs and gardening.
