Prior to joining LVM, Samuel trained at and practiced in a mid-sized law firm doing capital markets and general corporate work, followed by a stint in the same practice areas in one of the largest law firms in Singapore. His previous practice has given him exposure to high value corporate transactions and a firm grasp of the financial regulatory landscape of Singapore. Leveraging on this, his current practice involves civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on contractual disputes and commercial fraud. He also has an interest in criminal defence work, including white collar crime.
Samuel holds a bachelor of business degree from Nanyang Business School and an LL.B from NUS Faculty of Law. He was called to the bar in 2018, and has worked on several high value listings in Singapore and around the region. Samuel believes that justice should be accessible to all, and towards that end, does pro bono work for litigants who are unable to otherwise afford legal services. Outside of the courtroom, he is a traditional and digital painter and sculptor, as well as a maker.
